Basic Use: Follow the guide to first create a formation. Then continue to follow the guide create a play. When creating a play, under the next button, click the type button to open shortcuts rather than skipping through all possibilities.
Bottom Buttons: Click huddle to reset everything. Click new play same formation to keep the formation and create a new play. Click hide player names to make each player a blank circle or square, this will later allow you to set custom names. Click change background to view backgrounds that may be easier to print.
Remove Buttons: Hit the down button on your keyboard to hide all buttons on the bottom and labels from the top. Hit the up button to bring them back.
Creating a playbook: Once you have created a play, you can right click and copy or save the image. Copy and paste to Google Slides and repeat to create a playbook that can be shared with your team (directions in the video below: https://www.google.com/slides/about/
